Pantheon V is a revival, designed by Jawher Matmati, of a typeface that was popular in French publications in the first half of the 20th century, particularly among music publishers like Durand. Its design exhibits features of the Old Style Extended typeface, which was introduced towards the late 19th century. It is primarily designed for titling.
As the style name suggests, Pantheon V Sharp is a variant with clear-cut serifs and crisp strokes, whereas Pantheon V Regular is a more organic rendering that incorporates natural artifacts like ink bleed.
Pantheon V covers a large range of languages and symbols and contains more than 400 glyphs.
