Notation Express Keypad uses familiar numeric keypad layouts on your phone to make using Dorico quick and fun. Because there is no concept of the keypad in Dorico, Notation Express Keypad closely follows the arrangement and order of the Sibelius Keypad — perfect for when you’re working on a laptop, on a computer without a numeric keypad, or just want to add more power and speed to your existing setup. Whether or not you already know how to use the Sibelius Keypad, you will be right at home in Notation Express Keypad for Dorico.
Notation Express Keypad is built for the Stream Deck Mobile app with a Pro subscription or license only. It will not display correctly on the Stream Deck or Stream Deck XL hardware consoles, or on the free version of the Stream Deck Mobile app. The Stream Deck Mobile Pro app from Elgato is available on iOS/iPadOS and Android.
Requirements
- Dorico Elements or Pro 5 or later running on Mac or Windows*
- iPhone, iPad, or Android device with the Stream Deck Mobile app installed, connected to your computer via WiFi or USB
- A Pro subscription or lifetime license to the Stream Deck Mobile app, purchased separately from the iOS/iPadOS or Android app stores
- The latest version of the Stream Deck desktop software for Mac or Windows, from Elgato
*There are a few buttons that correspond to advanced features in Dorico Pro that are not supported in Dorico Elements. Pressing those buttons while in Dorico Elements will have no effect.

Can I use Notation Express Keypad on more than one computer?
Yes! A purchase entitles one person (you) to use it on one computer at a time, on as many computers that you personally use. Unless you have extra limbs, that should suffice nicely.
Can I use Notation Express Keypad on both the Stream Deck and the Mobile app?
No. Notation Express Keypad is specifically built for Stream Deck Mobile Pro, and won’t display correctly on the Stream Deck hardware console. You must subscribe or purchase a license to the Stream Deck Mobile Pro app separately, on iOS or Android.
Can my buddy who shares my computer use Notation Express Keypad?
No. Well, there’s no way to technically prevent it. But please ask your buddy to pur-chase it separately.
My buddy wants to use my copy of Notation Express Keypad. Can I send it to my buddy?
No! Your buddy should purchase it separately. Let’s all be buddies!
OK. Can I change the default Notation Express Keypad profile — move icons around, add my own shortcuts, actions, etc.?
While this is possible, we’ve designed Notation Express Keypad so that we hope it will be most useful out-of-the-box. If you wish, though, you are permitted to change it for your own use. If needed, you can always re-import the default Notation Express Key-pad profile again.
So, once I do that, can I send that profile to my buddy?
No! Please don’t share any profile derived from the Notation Express Keypad profile, unless your buddy has already purchased Notation Express Keypad, too — then it’s OK.
