PROGRAM/PERFORMANCE NOTE
D Major Jam is a piece for beginning string students and advanced or adult players to perform together. The basic rhythms are derived from improvisations that came from the work of the Catalyst Quartet and students in the Seattle Music Partners program in 2016, which I expanded upon to create the final version. My hope is that D Major Jam provides a fun performance opportunity for students and teachers alike!
