What is your refund policy?

Sales of all products are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated on the individual product page. The nature of many products is such that there is no way to disable them or prevent their use after they are purchased.

You are bound by the license terms of the product(s) you purchase. For further information, please consult the Terms of Service.

Do I need to create an account?

It is not necessary to create an account at Notation Central. You can check out as a guest. However, creating an account allows you to view your past orders, retrieve digital products for download, and save your account details for easier purchase. When you make a purchase on Notation Central, we store the record of your order to make it easier for you to retrieve files later and create an account in the future if you wish.

Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal.

What exactly happens after ordering? How long will delivery take?

If you have ordered a digital product sold by Notation Central and certain vendors, it will be available to download immediately upon checkout, from the same page that you placed the order. You will also receive an email with the record of the order and the download link.

Certain products sold by other vendors may require you to visit the vendor’s site to obtain the purchase (usually by entering a unique code or serial number provided upon checkout) and for product support.

Delivery of physical products depend on stock and transit times, but generally expect to receive your order between 2 and 5 business days after purchase. You will receive one or more emails with the status of your order.

I haven't received an email about the product I ordered. What should I do?

Please allow up to 10 minutes for emails to be delivered. Please also check any spam or junk filters or folders, as often these types of emails can be routed accordingly. If you still don’t see anything, please contact us.

How can I retrieve digital products I've purchased? How long will I have access to the files?

Unless the vendor has set a restriction on the number of times a file can be downloaded, you will be able to retrieve your files by clicking Retrieve Files on the top menu and entering your email address. You’ll receive a link with the download links. If you have created an account, you may optionally log into your account to retrieve your files.

How are PDF files delivered? What are the restrictions on use?

Unless the vendor has stated otherwise, PDF files purchased here are licensed to the purchaser only, and may not be copied or distributed, except for the licensed user’s own personal use. PDF files are stamped with a unique identifying mark on each page indicating the purchaser’s name and email address.

What is a “vendor”?

Products on Notation Central are sold both by Notation Central and by other vendors. That’s why Notation Central is the one-stop shop for music notation technology. Certain products may require to you contact a vendor to complete the process of obtaining a product and/or for support.
